Yes, six pieces including the top bracket. The pieces slot together and for some extra peace of mind I printed front covers that I glued to both parts.
you did the slots in the design or used an extension to create it?
 
ah okay i have heard there are addons in cad or utility type websites that make adding them simple
Thanks. To be honest I didn’t even think about an addon for it but I’ll try it next time.

I just made a diagram of a circle and placed it where I thought it should go, extruded it, and cut out the parts as needed.
 
I would be worried about IP / copyright / trademark issues if you were to try sell those at scale.
As long as we dont call it spiderman or lego,and as long as we dont claim its official Marvel, we should be good to go.
We can say its inspired by ..... This isnt one of ours.

Disney is the exception ..... we dont f### with Disney.

The model weighs around 200g so our cost will be around $5 with electricity poop and maint costs.
Sells for $40 on ebay and $25 to $30 at a market.

If he works out, will look at painting some others ....... maybe Superjakes :)
