I helped my bro put in another cup holder in his car this weekend.
V1 looks okay but we may improve in future.
Always feels good to make a practical print.
Note - its completely drawn up on Freecad.

It does. I printer a shower caddy last week that is working pretty well.

Another software option is a Fusion 360 Hobbyist license, which is free to use but limited. The license for Fusion is also not that expensive; it's around R5500 a year.

Yes, six pieces including the top bracket. The pieces slot together and for some extra peace of mind I printed front covers that I glued to both parts.

I made them in Autodesk Fusion as part of the design. The top one is printed in PETG but then I ran out so the rest of the parts are in PLA.

Thanks. To be honest I didn’t even think about an addon for it but I’ll try it next time.

I just made a diagram of a circle and placed it where I thought it should go, extruded it, and cut out the parts as needed.

As long as we dont call it spiderman or lego,and as long as we dont claim its official Marvel, we should be good to go.
We can say its inspired by ..... This isnt one of ours.

Disney is the exception ..... we dont f### with Disney.

The model weighs around 200g so our cost will be around $5 with electricity poop and maint costs.
Sells for $40 on ebay and $25 to $30 at a market.
