Liverpool FC supporters thread - 2017/18 Season

I won’t make any comparisons with Mo or other big forwards we’ve had over the years. He needs to make a name for himself at this club now, with his own specific qualities. Looking forward to see him play for us but I won’t put too much expectations on him. He has had zero pre-season with us and he’ll surely need a bit of time to find his feet in the PL. An ambitious signing that took way too long to finalize. The fee is absolutely crazy, as is no doubt the wage but that's what top-level football has become nowadays.

Welcome Bradley Barcola, hopefully you’ll hit the ground running.

At home and can’t even produce decent levels. Visitors don’t even look bothered. Ryan and salad boy just not working together at the moment. Can understand why Ryan has been sitting on the bench.

Yeah Fulham bascially matched us today, very disapointing no one really steped up but I guess atleast we haven't lost a game.

Ref screwed us today.

First yellow was never a card. Also, gave Araujo a card for waving an imaginary card then did nothing when City players did the same.

We held them (and dominated at times) despite missing Isak, Szobo, and Gakpo until we went down to 10.

Green shoots despite the loss for me.

Great 60 minutes but then it all fell apart after that Red. (First yellow was a shocker). Biggest concern is how poor Barcola and Wirtz look for a combined 250m they really need to step up. Starting to like Munoz he really does give everything and looks dangrous but our squad is super thin and still can't belive the money we spent and where we sit, Isak although he is a mssaive goal threadt not sure he will avearge more than 25-30 epl games a season.

cant believe they ****ed this manager with this squad depth...our transfer policy has been proper kak...we have two 100+ signings that cant even change the damn game...that kinda money should buy superstars not this kak we seeing week in and week out...

True. Looking at what we paid for Mane (36m), Salah (40m), Firmino (29m), it's been a disaster from our current transfer and scouting management.

If only we could play Lask every week... Hopefully some of the lads build up confidence Barcola and Rio both look on fire, Grav also looks great in full flight hopefully he can find that 1st season Slot form.

Thank goodness that player got himself sent off. Well taken goals from Munoz and isak. Bradley should have had another hatrick but missed some chances badly. That first one on one he couldn’t even hit the damn target. We should have been a couple of goals up but went into halftime one down instead.

At the moment we have two hundred million+ players who appear to bring their best to Europe only. At least Isak appears to be regaining that form in the league.

Munoz is an excellent addition to the team - love his work rate and passion.

JJ is going to be our player of the season - awesome upgrade of Konate.

Aurajo is calm and solid - a very very good loan move that should be converted to perm

Isak is a bloody sharpshooter- just get the ball to him and he does the business.

Coach needs to work on game management when we’re leading - unnecessarily nervous in the last 10 yesterday.

Definitely better football than what we saw last season.

While it isn’t nice seeing us concede such soft goals, it’s immensely satisfying to see us being able to come from behind to win.

Rio was on fire and we should buy that Araujo fella.

9/9 in the CL - lekker

Football so much better than last season.

don't think we smaak that purchase by the looks of things...although his doing well...wonder why barca got rid of him...still don't understand why he got substituted...

lots of positives last night but those goals we conceded were a horror show...
