*Sorta. New concept car shows off Polestar’s next-gen design language
This isn’t the new Polestar 2, because that car’s coming in 2027 and likely hasn’t been finished yet. This isn’t the Polestar 7 either, because that’s scheduled for… well, we’re still not quite sure.
No, this is the Polestar Formula 2030 concept, which previews future ‘design attributes’ that’ll filter into both the 2 and the 7 and indeed the entirety of Polestar’s line-up. Can you guess by when? That’s right – 2030!
Polestar design boss Philipp Römers – who of course replaced Max Missoni (now at BMW) – said of the new concept: “Polestar’s design and brand is already so strong, it was obvious we needed a bold evolution not revolution of what came before.
“Formula 2030 delivers this, showcasing our future while respecting brand-defining elements like the familiar Dual Blade headlights ensuring it remains recognisably a Polestar with a strong, characterful identity.”
