Cape Town is losing to its biggest rival

Given who really runs the harbours, no, they are both badly run and collapsing, Durban is still an absolute mess with government and unions sabotaging the new management at every turn and reports that productivity is now below 1/3 rd of normal levels and stacking capacity sitting at 85% leaving less and less space space to locate, retrieve or move cargo through the terminal. ships are now losing days instead of hours with average berthing time sitting in excess of 106 hours once the ship is actually able to get into the harbour after spending days waiting in line out at sea.
