It's the principle that counts though. They want people to change, so upgrading to the card should be free. Though I am quite happy to pay Capitec their admin fee though.

I wish they could just get the banks to do everything that home affairs does, Capitec taking an admin fee of whatever is still orders of magnitude cheaper for me than to wait for hours in a badly maintained, overcrowded and smelly home affairs office for hours.
