Night rain like we had fine, quite a hectic storm from 2am till about 6It's like you just jinxed it, but positively - now only fluffy clouds here, about 60% blue, good sunshine!
But there's more than a day to go, so....
As a point of interest, most electricity generating wind turbines only start up at 5mps (18kph).It doesn't look particularly so but the 20kph winds are steady here and gusting to I'm guessing 35
Strangest thing is its blowing down to ground level, the carports around my building look like they want to take off, and the sinkdak ones are banging like a landlord who hasn't been paid
Since I've been here its never been this way, always blows to the north an misses us due to the hill, today its oposite.

We've only had maybe two drops of rain and now the power's off for the first time in many months. Think the last time we've had a power outage was in Jan/Feb.
