Another software option is a Fusion 360 Hobbyist license, which is free to use but limited. The license for Fusion is also not that expensive; it's around R5500 a year.

Yes, six pieces including the top bracket. The pieces slot together and for some extra peace of mind I printed front covers that I glued to both parts.

I made them in Autodesk Fusion as part of the design. The top one is printed in PETG but then I ran out so the rest of the parts are in PLA.

ah okay i have heard there are addons in cad or utility type websites that make adding them simple

Thanks. To be honest I didn’t even think about an addon for it but I’ll try it next time.
I just made a diagram of a circle and placed it where I thought it should go, extruded it, and cut out the parts as needed.

As long as we dont call it spiderman or lego,and as long as we dont claim its official Marvel, we should be good to go.
We can say its inspired by ..... This isnt one of ours.
Disney is the exception ..... we dont f### with Disney.
The model weighs around 200g so our cost will be around $5 with electricity poop and maint costs.
Sells for $40 on ebay and $25 to $30 at a market.

Created an entire replicant of my previous 900mm Allosaur print for experimentation.
I even made & printed a stick sleeve so I can mount some of the parts for painting.
Can't f**ing wait for the weekend to come so I can start throwing paint and s**t at this thing.
My spidey senses are telling me that a nice thin coat of bone-white paint mixed with water & coffee is going to be the perfect base-coat for a Yale Graphite lock lubricant mix.... even if I'm completely and utterly wrong, I cannot wait to find out.
My current version of Trix that started all of this.

I like the way they've done the nozzle change it makes a lot of sense. The multi nozzle size support will be well welcomed.

Have been playing a bit more with AI to quickly generate OpenSCAD parametric files for repairs and replacements. Here is what Claude did for a new battery retention bracket for an Eaton UPS (the original flimsy one broke).
