Whats a good/cheap AI for doing general info queries(learning about new things and getting diy info) and product info/pricing/research?

For the latter I actually just prefer Gemini. I use GPT for hashing out ideas and Gemini when I want a more google-like approach finding specific websites, prices etc. Shouldn't really need to pay for such short queries.

Not sure how much I need to preach the cheapness of deepseek. Browser never really runs out but life is a lot easier using deepseek API via Reasonix. Recently upped their prices but generally still cheap. Else the Terra GPT model on medium setting is great for microcontroller coding.

Thanks. Installed reasonix and added $2. Been running for about 2 hours now and used a whole $0.10
Given it access to my arduino to write and debug some code for testing retro chips and it's been off doing it's thing analysing the results and rewriting the code. Pretty damn inpressive.

The offpeak rates are insanely cheap.
