Changes noticed / being made to Canal+ version of DStv

No, the decoder now used is a modern one so no problem there.

I had a friend who's dad persisted with it. But it came to having something like Compact for having 2 channels, at least could watch the rugby etc.

So cost nowadays?

They're quite good at putting best sports on that other channel at any given moment, but agree it's better to have a variety... unless you're a sports lover.

No idea what they pay for it now, last I heard I think around R350 pm so maybe pushing R500 now. May also be worth it for those into its KykNet soapies.

Update: I am a chop. I hadn’t paid for this month. Hence only seeing the free version channels. Paid now, all sorted.



I haven’t been following developments, so not sure if this has already explained? Opened up the DSTV stream app today, and hardly any channels are now visible? Used to be able to stream everything that would be seen as a DSTV premium subscriber? Has something changed, or is this just a current bug/glitch?

Haven't seen anyone post anything about that. Maybe related to you being off for some time, see how it is tomorrow?

I spoke to someone a short while ago and he had a similar problem. What sorted him out was to log in to DSTV stream using his cellphone number instead of his e-mail address. Maybe you can try that instead. If you logged in with your cellphone number, try it using your e-mail address.

Have to wonder who's supplying it to the channel as well, lol
