He's not wrong at all for referring to himself as a doctor. It would raise eyebrows if he called himself a Medical Doctor (he completed the degree but not residency). You may recall Casey Means, the lady whom Trump nominated for position of Surgeon General. She uses the title Dr or MD despite the fact that she never completed her residency. 🤔

we both do - the american
his wife also holds a doctorate in education, but she is not anal about the embarrassing title.

picture the scene.
the unhappy couple are on a flight back to new york.
suddenly a passenger in business class has a heart attack while in peasant class, a woman goes into labour.
a trolley-dolly takes a quick look at the passenger manifest and realises there are 2 doctors on board, sitting side by side.

captain makes an announcement asking if there are any doctors on board the flight.
their hands shoot into the air, trolly-dolly rushes over to them in relief.
wife: " i can help by putting a quick powerpoint presentation together".
husband: "and i can create a 9 column spreadsheet".


it can however get worse
captain makes the announcement.
both knowing their titles are of no use to humanity, do not raise their hands.
heart attack leads to cardiac arrest.
pregnant woman bleeds out on the floor - there are now 2 corpses on board the flight.
trolly-dolly tells the entire flight crew there were two doctors on board, and neither lifted a finger.
next thing it is on social media, and soon enough the news networks are telling the story of the two doctors.
eventually the doctors have to make a public announcement declaring theirs are vanity titles, and of no real value to either man or beast.

Its not the the state thats primary, its the community. You are confusing it with communism again.

And again the nuclear family is a new concept that's only about a 100 years old, and only really practiced in some places in the west. The traditional form of the family and the raising of children lies with the tribe/village/community.

Also the nuclear family could not exist before many socialist concepts were in place. Like public schooling, workers and children rights, public infrastructure. We see the nuclear family dying because those institutions are dying.
