Bolt and Uber drivers out of control in South Africa

The one that is not stated is how many people do skip red lights, doesn’t help just to blame one side. How many accidents are caused just by normal drivers, I’ve seen it many times in Bloemfontein. And panic buttons and so forth alone won’t help these drivers, what about the meter taxi people harassing them or using intimidation or even violence....where is the government in this?
 
Yes, let's totally ignore the largest taxi organization in the country who openly break the law every single day and rather target their opposition who is a, in comparison, miniscule issue. Yes, both are illegal and both could get people killed, but let's not pretend that Uber or Bolt is the biggest problem we have.
 
This weekend a guy in a Jeep invented a new turn lane to basically cut off myself and a whole row of cars because he couldn't be bothered to wait like the rest of us. Then in the parking lot he of course had to take up four parking spaces.

I almost did a violence, it was close.

But in general Uber and other vehicles aren't a problem, unlike all of the delivery bikes on the road.

yes, in SA we only go after the softest targets. So that's mostly normal folks who have expired license discs.

The rest of the Mad Max entourage (taxis, delivery bikes, red-light jumpers, wrong-way catastrophes, highway drop-offs, emergency lane clowns, uber/bolt u-turns in the middle of the road) get a free pass unless they physically run over a traffic cop.

We've adapted so much, we might as well join them.
