Things that irritate you - Part 4

Even prices of Bluetooth speakers have gone up. Got my dad Jlab Party speaker for R499 now it's R799, got my son a Volkanox S500 for R599 now it's R749.
I mean both of those were quite surprising in sound though the jlab was better, the volkanox reminds me of jbl bassy
 
Can someone explain this irritating trend to me:
Why do people now have to have a massive, fat microphone in their videos?
Is that like a compensation for a small sexual organ or what?

See lots of it now, people sitting talking to viewers, with a MASSIVE RODE mike on the desk, the thing's bigger than the biggest dildo available.

We can hear them clearly even with a lapel mic. IMHO the lapel is superior.

Those big glossy bakkies are used more as limousines than work-horses.

They're even shunning the word 'bakkie', I see in their ads, now.

went yesterday to pick n pay to pay COJ account . was paying in cash . i counted the cash . made separate piles of R1000 each . gave each pile to the teller . she counts them . confirms the amount . calls her manager to re count them . he confirms the amount

i went back there today and she says i short paid R100

i said to her 3 people counted it . me , her , her boss

she says they took the cash to the money counting machine and it was short 100

i asked for that specific manager but he was not there , she makes a pouty face and says its fine dont worry they will deduct the 100 off my salary

i felt bad and gave her 100 .

People who do not know the meaning of the word "everybody ".

E.g. here on the forum....are Chinese cars as bad as everybody says?
DSTV post: ....does not include F1, rugby....that everybody watches .

If everybody says Chinese cars are bad, it means nobody regards them as good, not a single person.

If everybody watches F1, rugby..., then there is  nobody not watching it, all 8 billion people on earth!

Both are clearly false! The OP lies blatantly or has no grasp of the meaning of the word "everybody". Which is it?
