The "Sport" package seems very limited in it's description. I'd expect if I bought the sport package, I'd get all the Sport Channels you would get on premium... If not, get wrecked.

Its a bit disingenuous calling the package "Sport", but then not offering F1, MotoGP, Premium International Rugby, Cricket or Tennis or it..

If the names reflected what they were "Sport" -> "Soccer" and then "Premium" -> "Sport".

Where can we see a lineup of channels for the packages? Traditionally MC hasn't lumped WWE with sports but with general entertainment. Will the movies and series include it and some other sport channels or are these separate non-tiered packages.

Without more info to go on as is there appears to be a gap.

As you likely know, they've always been poor at showing contents of each package properly for some really strange, unknown reason.

There is this, but usually been about 10 to 20% inaccurate and it's not updated yet.

So… the PSL (local league) is excluded from the Sports Package?, but is included in the “Select” package? Who are the dunderheads making making these dumb decisions? The Sports Package also excludes some sports. I mean. Why not include ALL sports that are available in premium ?

Compact already included some series except for the premium channels, that was Compact+. Unless it's assumed that the new package is tiered as well like it used to be it will be missing the basic sport channels and Sports will miss the premium series channels. Yeah, all still quite confusing.
What does seem sure though is that Compact Plus will still have both channels you want.

PSL is included in DStv Sports. It also includes everything in DStv Select

Its new Sports package will include all of SuperSport’s live Premier League and UEFA coverage, live cricket, local rugby, UFC, and WWE.

DStv Sports subscribers will also get the channels and content available to Select customers, who get SuperSport’s PSL soccer content, Mzansi Magic, and all DStv’s kids channels.
