SARS Refund Status: Ready to be paid???

Is this a new thing? I have never seen this before. In the past, when owed a refund, it would either show the refund amount due, or the that the refund is being witheld pending verification/audit etc, or it would show a message saying the refund has been paid. I have never seen this message before.

Is this a new step sars has brought in to justify delaying refund payments with a few extra days or what???

It's been there a few years, usually means it was checked and approved to be paid out, it gets picked up by the system as a batch to pay out, so within the next 3 days usually from status change.

Okay thanks. Nor sure how I have missed it then. Have never seen this status before
