Honor’s plan to dethrone Samsung in South Africa

Now if only MTN had the premium Honor models on offer i would get one in a heartbeat. These Chinese phones are the future. Who wants a Samsung or iPhone that has not changed in the past 6 years apart from more AI and maybe a better CPU.

iPhones are manufactured in China....

Samsung are made in Vietnam and India.

I am on honor phones and am loving them. Basically same factory/tech as Huawei but still with Android. Significantly better hardware than Samsung for the same price every time I compare.

Samsung and iPhone both lost the plot long ago, I fear Honor will be more of the same

My brother from another mother! I'm so with you on this. I current have a vanilla S23 as it was the smallest available last time I upgraded. Even the is bigger than I'd want.

currently using a XCover5, at 147mm long it is also a bit too big, but was the best I could find at the time

miss my S4 mini of old which clocked in at only 125mm :crying:

So, I should just assume any funny name brand that suddenly bangs onto the market is good?
Everything is made in China- there is a difference between made and designed in China (with all the CCP backdoors, poor code quality, and corner cutting), and product made in China to order by, say, Apple, Samsung, or another premium brand.
