Lol they are not concerned with the Dutch border or any physical border.

It means less illigal foreigners and there's other ways to secure the border and kick the Somalis out.

Most Indians fly in. A airport is also a easily controllable border checkpoint.

Far right parties typically start getting traction in areas that are a bit deprived - in this case part of the old East Germany that is less prosperous than the rest of the country. People feel that they're being left behind; some people move to more prosperous areas and others stay behind.

Those that stay behind are open to suggestions as to why their lives aren't where they want them to be and who to blame for it.

It's exactly the same pattern in the UK and US.

Actually Saxony-Anhalt has been governed by the centre-right CSU for decades, but yeah, many people are wondering what the point of centre-right parties are when they don't address the concerns of the people. If you are not promoting conservative values, what's the point of voting for you? Too many centre-right parties have been drifting leftwards (European-wide problem).

Poor people never learn. they vote for these drive off the cliff radicals (right and left) who just screw them worse. Americas are learning that now.

You don't need to close or to police the borders. all you need to do is make the invaders feel unwelcome enough for them to swim back to Africa on their own accord. And yes, some MG-42 action goes along way in assisting with this feeling of wellbeing in Africa.
