SA Politics Part 14 - The New Dawn turns to Dusk

The poor reverend. He was convinced that he could take on Zille. They gassed him up: “you can do it! She’s a very unlikeable woman. The blacks will never vote for her”. He begrudgingly accepted the role. Convinced that maybe they were right. Maybe he could actually do it. He would leave the house of God and join the cadres at the feeding trough. Maybe this was his true calling.

They forgot to add his name to the candidate list 😂

Yea. So not everyone loves the frog boiler and are seeing through the ANC.

Why is the DA worried about the ANC's appeal to the electoral court? It has absolutely nothing to do with the DA.
Same reason anyone is free to join a case as a friend of the court. To add arguments that may not have otherwise been considered, to assist the judge in making a decision.

It has everything to do with every other party who followed the rules and worked hard to meet the deadline. Who should rightfully be pissed if the ANC can sway the judge to make an exception just for them. It brings the fairness of the electoral process into question.

People are free to join the ANC's side too btw, but the fact that nobody is doing so says enough on it's own...

We have given the Libationers their right to go to court, now the DA will have its right to join the case to make sure there is no preferential treatment. The DA was able to submit all its thousands of candidates in time, so it’s well within its rights to counter any arguments of “system glitches”.

You wouldn’t deny the DA its democratic right to join the case?

Imagine. Joburgers hoping for a few days uninterrupted supply of water and electricity, installing boreholes, getting generators, buying off-road vehicles to manage the “roads” and property values dropping in half.

Capetownians furious over R25 fees to register multiple pets 😂. These cities exist in two different universes
