Also, who cares about the “wonderful” tech the Chinese are developing, if no one is asking for it
What is the ratio of sales between regular smartphones, and folding screen phones?you may not be asking for it but sales figures of these things prove that millions are actually asking for it
What does that have to do with crease free foldable screens that Apple can’t manufacture?Does it run Google Play services though?

Folding phones have been out for a long time now, and the mainstream hasn’t adopted the tech yet. There will always be trend followers who buy whatever the newest gimmick is, but the market is still squarely only really interested in regular phones

It’s niche.
And 107 million sold.
I still see a crease.

Ask geminii don't know where you get the figure from because they manufacturers do not disclose actual number totals year on year but current marketshare of foldables is still only estimated to be 1.2% of the total smartphone market - should be around similar to hypercars vs your regular transport boxes either way so your number could be correct or it could be correct for one year or it could relate to anything that is currently unspecified
If you think smartphones (foldable or not) are anywhere near the same sort of status symbol that a limited production high end handmade Swiss watch is, is just crazy.who really cares that its not a vast majority though - its still millions of sales over Samsungs many generations and Huawei as as well as Oppo and Vivo and also now xiaomi all making foldables - yet you say no-one wants them - that means sales should have been zero units across all those manufacturers but over the last few years those sales figures go into millions of units
the mainstream has adopted the tech because the foldables are generally regarded as the ultimate luxury phones only for the extreme upper end of the market - its just like for every Ferrari sold you will have 10000 Corollas or Golfs sold ..... same goes for things like luxury watches like Patek Phillipe - you will have 10000 fitness bands of every brand sold for every one Patek Phillipe watch that will sell at $500000 because there is a limited market for it ..... in the same way you see a guy with a foldable he has made it to a higher level of life than even the latest top of the line iphone takes you to, because this is a guy who casually carries around something that is so expensive that only a few people in the world can make sense of buying it
Have you ever had or even used a foldable phone? If you think smartphones (foldable or not) are anywhere near the same sort of status symbol that a limited production high end handmade Swiss watch is, is just crazy.
No one with money or status - cares about what smartphone anyone has. No one in the luxury market is going to assume anything about you because you have a foldable phone. It isn’t anything like a luxury watch or collectible car.
Oh this snowflake again simping for social credits from CCPThese are and Apple along with you are way behind.
They are also cheaper.
No - but I dont know why that matters. The more important question is do I have any desire to get one - and the answer to that is also No.Have you ever had or even used a foldable phone?
Very nicely done but it's probably going to be pushing R50k and screen protectors are probably not possible on the main screen and it’s going to be really difficult to put it in a permanent pouch/back cover so it's going to be a gamble how long one survives.Introducing the new iPhone Duo
And what will the Apple cloth that cleans that monster cost?
