New TV licence scam in South Africa

The SABC has warned people to ignore an email containing "alarming" language relating to alleged outstanding TV Licence payments, penalties, and possible litigation.

The SABC advised TV licence holders to contact its customer service contact centre, which remained available to assist the public with verifying their account status and addressing any licence queries.


The public must contact the TV licence division by phone at 011 330 9555 or by email at [email protected].
