Netflix could be forced to carry SABC content in South Africa

So suppose there were some SABC shows hosted on Netflix. Would our guys complain if nobody watched them? They'd just hog space on Netflix servers.

My thoughts exactly. As long as we are not forced to watch it and it doesn't replace the things we actually want to watch, who cares?

I don't know how they could force Netflix to show it. It's all on demand, not broadcast TV.

International net services can't be forced to carry anything by these local crazies. Only reason they may cooperate is public relations.
