IRAN WAR: You can't lose, if you don't have a goal

Didn't CENTCOM also try to start inferring that their Reaper drones were also throw away vehicles when Iran started yeeting them from the sky? Sounds like extra-strength copium to me :whistling:
Given how regularly the USV's going rogue I don't find it war fetched. The East China Sea has a long list of them being caught in fishing nets.

As seen in the video below, the US expended a huge amount of Patriot missiles, some believe upwards of 100+, which would constitute a major slice of the remaining stock

In statements made to reporters on the sidelines of a meeting, spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Armed Forces, declared that all U.S. vessels had retreated at least 400 kilometers from Iran’s coastal waters following advanced Iranian strikes.

Iran has grown more confident in its ability to attack targets in the Middle East and appears determined to continue the conflict for months to frustrate the United States, according to U.S. intelligence reports in recent weeks.Iran has emerged from months of the on-again, off-again war with a far better understanding of its military strengths and is more sure of its capabilities, according to officials briefed on the intelligence.

Ex-Commander of US CENTCOM and ex-Director of CIA David Petraeus casually admitted that US bases in the eastern Gulf are “no longer viable”

Top White House advisers, including JD Vance and Marco Rubio, have privately warned Trump that the war with Iran could last through the rest of his presidency, telling him that Tehran could continue resisting U.S. pressure and potentially extend the conflict beyond Inauguration Day in January 2029, The Wall Street Journal reports

before the war, I knew that the US was never going to be able to defeat Iran.

but I never thought that IRAN was going to get the US to abandon bases all across the middle east because they could not stop Iran attacking them.

This will go down as a worse defeat than Vietnam. Not only did the US lose territorial control, they also lost trade and diplomatic control over the region.

Problem here is that the US cant just up and leave anymore. If they do iran will try to charge tolls and shoot at any vessel who dont pay. Iran have to charge tolls to recover the destruction the US and Israel have visited on their country

Well currently Iran is not giving them a choice in the matter. The question is just how much future military power is the US willing to spend before they finally give up.

The US is going to end up in the position of the British Empire, when it no longer had the power to keep control of its colonies, or the Soviet union, when it started abandoning the satellite states at the end of the cold war.

it takes the US over 2 years to build a replacement cruise missile from start to finish because of how bloated their military industrial complex is. Iran, Russian and the Ukraine are building simpler but sufficiently effective missiles in days to weeks.

so this is the 4rd time this side of 9/11, that some mountain people in the middle east has outperformed the US military in securing control of a local region.

1. Afghanistan
2. Iraq
3. Iran
4. Yemen

This is what happens when you pay for people to be your friends.

According to the automotive news publication The Auto Wire, Costco is now limiting its members to a single purchase of its store-branded 5W-30 full synthetic motor oil per transaction, with a maximum of two purchases every seven days. Costco’s own website references the restriction on its stock of 5-quart, 2-packs of the motor oil in question.
“I told you this was a possible consequence of the Strait of Hormuz closure in May. It isn’t just about the reality of the shortage once these stories start publishing,” Moore wrote Sunday in a social media post on X. “It’s now about runs on oil on top of the actual shortage. That [is] why Costco is implementing rationing. Don’t get caught without enough for an oil change or two to take with your car to the mechanic.”

Amazing how a terrible leader can unravel decades of diplomacy, power, and influence in such a short space of time. Trump is ensuring the USA despite its economic clout becomes a pariah diplomatically. It can't support its own allies at this point or protect its own bases. I still think Putin is either directly or indirectly controlling him.
