The massive news dropped today:

We have to see how this unfolds & what changes.
Mine too, I love a Vida coffee.

I see Seattle's are getting a make over. V&A has a smaller, but fancy looking one and the one in Mouille Point is very fancy. I do like a Seattle too.

Well I have this bottle I got from the shopping center I keep in the kitchen cupboard at home, I also have an identical one in my cupboard at the office.

The bigger question is how is Plato NOT on the list? Their flat white with almond milk is the best coffee I know of in Johannesburg, for my personal tastes. I don't get to enjoy it daily though, I'm not a tenderpreneur lol.

At home I prefer Colombian espresso, made as Americanos because that's easiest for me (fussing with foaming milk every day is not fun for me).

I've heard Platō is good.
I always liked the flat line on the ō - makes me want to put on my Afrikaans best accent and call it 'Plat ou'

ROFL, you gotta treat yourself sometime ... their network is constantly expanding in South Africa. I've driven through some tiny dorpies and been surprised to see a nice shiny Plato.

For me, I love their entire decor: non-glossy wood, shiny white, and the beautiful pastel colours on the cups.

They also have a mobile app that gives me about R3 back for every coffee I order, into a loyalty balance. Not exactly gonna get rich off that, but I'm about to enjoy my first free coffee there.
