I think this cloth is a genius strategy by Apple, with every launch of a new product they end up with additional publicity through all the articles and posts about being compatible with the cloth.

Well... to be fair, it's now on Cloth version 7.14.01a...... Now with added Seam-seal and quantum fibre entanglement.
You can't expect infinite backward compatability...... That's unreasonable.
