Apple foldable iPhone Duo launched and pre-order date revealed

I'm still carrying my 12 mini. What a great phone. They should make that a new SE. Nobody care about thickness, make the thing 5mm thicker and put a proper battery in it. The extra thickness will also cause no need for a camera bump.

100%.

I can’t understand how any designer reckons a camera bump is a better design aesthetic than simply making it fatter.

It’s also far more comfortable to hold if it’s more chunky.

They can experiment. Next year they will play with some other aspect of the form factor and the same people who buy iPhones every year and rave about them will have more reason to do so.

Ironically most of us buy a case that compensates for the bump, so the phone ends up fatter anyhow.

Foldable phones are big in China, not so much in the rest of the world. So its a market to explore for Apple, but like Jobs said, they don't ship junk. So they waited till they thought the technology is ripe not to ship junk.
The funny thing is, because Apple mostly do things properly, they might create a bigger market for foldable phones in the rest of the world and the other brands might benefit from that.
Irony being...........they are Samsung screens that are being used. Great innovation Apple  :ROFL: Yeah Apple doing things "properly" as you say.

It looks absolutely ****.

Fisher price toy levels of ****.

Nah! It’s a cracker and I would love to have one. Especially as a guy who travels a lot and carries an iPhone and an iPad mini. Not likely to happen soon due to the price and the first iteration, but the functionality is right up my street.

Listen Genius, do you think every component in Elon's spaceships were made by SpaceX?
I just think it's ridiculous how Apple put themselves on a pedestal using tech engineered by rival brands. And fanboys like you, but that's just my opinion so don't let it upset you.

I find it more ridiculous that all these Apple haters flock to every Apple thread? Its almost if they have serious inferiority complex.
And then they make all these claims what they think Apple users/buyers are like.
If you don't like something just move on. No need to show off psychological problems to the world.

Samsung didn't invent the nano textured glass. Also since it didn't leak out Samsung couldn't even copy it lol.

I think it’s amusing how Apple sells more Samsung smartphone screens than Samsung. What’s also amusing is that Samsung uses LG and third party Chinese screens on many of their mid tier phones including the SFE and A57 to keep costs down.

An older video - but it does ring very true. I’m not sure I’d trust an Apple fan user for a non-bias view or opinion.
