Foldable high res screen phones were popular in Japan but once iPhone launched they jumped on that.

Companies such as Panasonic, Sharp, Toshiba, Sony etc used to make such phones. I think now only Sony with Experia makes smart phones.

Foldable phones can make sense when you want something small and not these huge form factors which struggle to fit in one's pocket unless one is one of those cargo pants wearing clowns.

I personally don't see the appeal of phones so much. I run an A70 which still works with an S24U and these both work very well.

Most of the PC stuff I do on desktop or laptop computers and Macs.

Apple are reportedly paying $250 per screen ...... so guys your supposedly creaseless screen is being manufactured by Samsung which shows that if they want to release a phone with a screen like that its the easiest thing in the world for them :ROFL: ;)

in the meantime Apple are adding to Samsungs profit margins by buying loads of OLED screens from them (not only for the Duo but for other models too ..... widely known fact)

related manufacturers will re-use parts ie you still get Audi Parts in a Lamborghini - hell you even used to get Audi parts in Bugattis but rivals rarely sell to rivals
