I think it’s amusing how Apple sells more Samsung smartphone screens than Samsung. What’s also amusing is that Samsung uses LG and third party Chinese screens on many of their mid tier phones including the SFE and A57 to keep costs down.

Yes and these screens look identical to Apple's and the phones are significantly cheaper and often last longer. My A70 from 2019 still lasts on the original battery. Perfect blacks on this AMOLED screen.

An older video - but it does ring very true. I’m not sure I’d trust an Apple fan user for a non-bias view or opinion.

This is good insight. I always get the best tool for the job. I'll get a Mac for computing, a Windows with Nvidia for gaming and an Android for smartphone use. Also have iPads including Pro and Mini, not doing much.

It's also nice to have separation of accounts. Mac and iPads running the Apple account and phones are running the Google one while Windows has its own.

And then they make all these claims what they think Apple users/buyers are like.
If you don't like something just move on. No need to show off psychological problems to the world.

For context, I own a iPad Pro 11 and the last iPhone I had was a 14 Plus which I gave to my daughter because I am not bowled over about Apple products. .

You may have a point. Benchmarks are after all the best way to assess utility of a given product. For example if a computer is no longer in the top 5% of performers in terms of CPU or GPU, it should be trashed.

Yes indeed scumbag influencers do push benchmarks, as do manufacturers, hence the need to upgrade every year and trash perfectly useful hardware.

Point aside and you're distracting with fluff, but hardware has been good enough for many years already. The A70s AMOLED screen offers perfect blacks and 60Hz. When compared to 2024 flagship models the screen is not inferior.

I don't know maybe I'm more reasonable and maybe some kids just have not much else going in their lives that getting excited over screen GTG times offer some purpose or meaning in life. For most people however, there are no clear benefits.

Point is that hardware on mid tier has been good enough for maybe 6 or more years. AMOLED screen. Fast performance.
