i'm feeling unusually civilized tonight - but putting the good sound system to work, and it's doing a damn fine job !!

I grew up listening to these guys in the 80s. The synth work is still amazing and defined the decade for me.

CYRIL - Stumblin' In

true confession time.
i had a giggle when i heard this earlier - it took me back to a club in durban.
at that point in time i had embarked on my chemical romance - my favorites at the time were acid, mdma & ghb - ghb in particular.
thanks to the ghb, a friend renamed me "stumbelina" - a mix of thumbelina & my stumbling about.
my friend would often comment " there she comes "stumblin in" !

other nicknames i have gathered have been:
grace
crissybitch
chico, the mexican fighting banana.

i've added the original "stumblin in" below

[Grant]

my very favorite at the moment.
watch from beginning to end, you'll be glad you did !!

Fantastic! Make no mistake, I love watching someone like Jimmi Hendrix or Guthrie Govan or Max Ostro play a guitar, but the practice and skill that goes into an orchestra or brass / big band like that is phenomenal. You're co-ordinating tens to hundreds of skilled individuals.
