I was one of the five people who subscribed to Showmax Pro and liked it. It was great if you only wanted soccer, boxing and athletics. Now we get one rugby game and ESPN too.

Only white people watch rugby? Interesting.White people got to pay for the privilege of watching rugby
That is quite incorrect. You can be in the middle of nowhere and someone will walk past you wearing a Manchester City, Liverpool or Manchester United shirt. Most rural Zulus have never heard of it and they think Africans invented soccer.

Who wants to watch that boredom? Lawn bowls is more exciting than Springbok rugby. No Springbok Rugby - they can keep it
Cheap knock offs produced in Lesotho and sold for R50 at the spaza shop. That is quite incorrect. You can be in the middle of nowhere and someone will walk past you wearing a Manchester City, Liverpool or Manchester United shirt.

That's actually on point.Who is forcing you to watch it?
This post gave me cancer+So interesting this. Premium is claimed to be 135+ channels, Compact+ 120+ channels. Don't know why the + and not exact figures, maybe they've set up the value proposition along those lines. But Compact+ is only missing a few premium channels like some sports and MNet and such. Movies & Series and Sports are both now branded as 115+ channels and Premium 130+ so still a lot of overlap and we'll have to wait and see but perhaps Movies & Series won't be missing that much from Compact+.
They don't say the exact number of channels because the channel line-ups keep changing over time and there are regular temporary pop-up channels etc throughout the year.So interesting this. I stopped watching it yet there's always someone here who tells me that the only reason they have DSTV Premium is for Springbok rugby and somehow I'm the fool for refusing to watch that ruck and maul nonsense. That's actually on point.
I've personally stopped watching rugby, maybe people should boycott this clear cash grab but that would never happen.

Premium called "130+" or even "135+" elsewhere is strangely low this month though, it's around 148 (/ 152 on satellite) now with just 4 chs. being removed tonight. They don't say the exact number of channels because the channel line-ups keep changing over time and there are regular temporary pop-up channels etc throughout the year.
They can't keep changing their ads and marketing to say now it's 148 channels and tomorrow it's 139 and next week it's 144.
I went to a primary school that had every sport except rugby, then went to a small high school that had no sport. So me and rugby were never formally introduced, so I have very little interest in rugby as a result.I stopped watching it yet there's always someone here who tells me that the only reason they have DSTV Premium is for Springbok rugby and somehow I'm the fool for refusing to watch that ruck and maul nonsense.
