Solar generation in rain/cloudy conditions

PV has been really good. I see we are in for a grid weekend this weekend in PTA.

Sigh bright and sunny in Randburg, by home dark and cloudy like wtaf
If I could export solar from where I am I would be a rich man. It’s been 2 months now and the lost cloud I have seen is those high and white patchy clouds. And that was maybe 1 day at most.

Interesting part is with all the abundant solar they have, renewables only count for less than 10% of their power. Electricity is a 3rd of SA prices

Finally got solar assistant onto a new sd card, I see the new version allows you to back slices, so I took the last day I backed up to this morning. Sure missed a few things but at least I could move most of it across.
Going to try see if I can get the old SD card working and backup that missing month and see what happens.

I hope we get a bit of the rain in JHB. Some excellent PV days with fairly clean air and now our AQI has gone for a ball of dung - 152 currently. Must be the wind whipping up the dust.

Be very very quiet. I do not want the Durban treatment.

Battery not feeling the love today. It looks dark enough for it to rain so I wish it just freaking would.

Yup would've been fine if it actually bloody rained.
75% battery. Looks like will wind up at 85 or so. I see the Washing machine, pool and Pond ran. Other inverter got full. So not the best but it’s not the worst

Just clouds all day my side, none of that ran my side

I only generated 5.1kWh today. And it’s throughout the day. But the house load is low so it’s enough to cover everything lol. Battery at 80 so plenty.
