DHS watchdog finds immigrants were held at ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ in outdoor cages the size of phone booths
The cages, called “calming areas,” were used for detainees to “reflect on their behavior choices, manage their emotions, reduce stress and practice self-directed behavior,” according to the inspector general’s report.www.nbcnews.com
Is this as meaningless as previous ones? I remember republicans in the senate reversing the last one after a pep talk from Trump.
Who says Republicans don’t remove systemic barriers to employment eh?
Wouldn't a sale of arms like this be financially positive for the US? Israel is buying them. That is what the word "sale" means. Which means that Israel is actually funding Medicaid, school lunch programs etc.No money for Medicaid, school lunch programs, etc. but...

US taxpayer pays for it.Wouldn't a sale of arms like this be financially positive for the US? Israel is buying them. That is what the word "sale" means. Which means that Israel is actually funding Medicaid, school lunch programs etc.
I think the tweet added in the US taxpayer funding for this deal in particular, which is incorrect. If my daddy gives me lots of cash, and I use some of that cash to buy his car from him, who is actually paying for the car?
WASHINGTON, Sept 15 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump's administration is planning to sell to Israel a munitions package worth $2.8 billion, which will include tens of thousands of highly destructive 2,000-pound bombs, according to a U.S. official familiar with the sale.
The planned sale, which has been informally communicated to relevant congressional committees who weigh in on large arms sales, includes 20,000 MK 84s and 20,000 BLU-117s, the official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said.

Israeli foreign military support is about $3bn a year, so basically a rounding error compared to both mandatory and discretionary spending.

Having that money go right back into the US economy via high tech industries does soften the blow somewhat as well.
You're just phishing for AOC now, aren't you.....Since we also know WHY you bash Trump and the GOP it would be very interesting to hear WHY you support your specific nominee for Democratic president.
No I am actually not phishing for anyone. You're just phishing for AOC now, aren't you.....
Meanwhile, Lord Trumpington remains utterly convinced he was saved by big, brawny, firemen at ground zero. I mean, talk about homoerotic fantasies...
Quick question.
We all know it's midterms soon and that the House is up for grabs as well as 35 seats of the Senate.
But maybe even more importantly: the primaries are starting in November as well.
Now I know that it is fashionable and fun and easy to bash Trump and the GOP.
What I would like to know: who do all you bashers SUPPORT and root for in the Primaries to be your next US president?
Since we also know WHY you bash Trump and the GOP it would be very interesting to hear WHY you support your specific nominee for Democratic president.
Personally ive no horse in this race. As long as the Dems pick someone sensible and not too radical. Their extreme woke position led them here and disappointingly dont look to be doing anything to remedy the situation. They delivered Trump who is wreaking havoc on the world.Quick question.

What's so funny @Benedict A55h0le not ?
I think it is actually, considering what the US is getting in return. They get a proxy that can and will continuously engage in the Middle East without needing congressional oversight.Well sure, but it's not a net gain.
