Battery charged once just fine, for the 2nd time it reached 100% effortlessly, from Takealot luckily i got the refund
 
Only years ago, probably 2004ish, on BidorBuy ordered a phone and it looked right but inside was cheap shyte.
 
Wow a lot of you guys are receiving fake stuff from Takealot.... best keep an close eye on things if ordering from there, as they don't always seem amenable to refunding you either.
 
Yes, Takealot. Ordered a Samsung A25, got one, but manufactured and locked for use in UAE. Would not run software for local market e.g. Nedbank app. Only found out with the help of an expert who checked the licencing terms on the phone. Got a full refund though.
 
Twice. Both from Takealot. .

Nintendo Switch Pro controller, sent back and refunded.

North Face t-shirt. Looked original but after a couple of washes the logo disintegrated. Too late to complain, took the L.

Lol...Im a bit nervous now as Ive just bought myself a Gshock watch that was on special on TAL.....

Yes, Lego from Takealot. Items received were knock-offs from China. No orders for anything to TAL since.
 
Temu and Bid-or-buy (maaany moons ago).

I hate using takealot at the moment. Too many 3rd party sellers whom, quite often, will claim massive discounts but then the item is still expensive. Just feels like a minefield to be honest.

I ordered a Lenovo thinkpad keyboard early this year from them. What I got was a clearly used/2nd hand one.

Sent them an email with pictures of the original one that was in the laptop + the one they shipped. They replaced it with a new one this time, they didn't even collect their "used" one.
