United States puts visa restrictions on South Africa that target the ANC and Julius Malema

Rubio said in a statement on Tuesday evening that the restrictions would single out those responsible for “race-based discriminatory legislation, threats of land expropriation without compensation, and incitement of racial violence through dehumanizing chants and slogans.”
Isn't "race-based discrimination" the definition of racism?

racism
/ˈreɪsɪz(ə)m/
Racism is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that people can be divided into distinct biological groups or that one's own race is superior.

Yeah. Says a country led by convicted criminal and rapist who just paid restitution to a woman he sexually violated and has links to a dead pedo. A country whose administration supports blatant dispossession of land and property in Palestine. Please kindly fvck off hypocrites.

The Musk fanboys live in awe of America, believing it to be a perfect utopia, yet they would probably be denied a tourist visa if they even tried to apply. Not that they ever will.

Unfortunately this is just useless gesturing by the Americans, Not once have sanctions or VISA restrictions prevented or discouraged corruption by any African politicians. If anything, this will push cadres to spend their spoils in the Middle East and Asia.

I've been to the USA on several occasions although that was before Trump. It was a disappointment. People think it's like the movies but in reality, America is pretty similar to SA.
Where did you go, some dodgy town in the South? Although even then i've been to dodgy towns in the South and the people were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

The only place i have not liked much in the US trips the last few years is LA.

No more 5th avenue shopping sprees for the cadres. Although I think most cadres are more into Dubai shopping anyway.

Is that why the world's hordes are rushing to get there instead of here?
In both countries, the trumpet of democracy is blown loud but the rot under it all is obscene. The citizens of each country are patriotic to the point that sensationalism overrides common sense. Dropping a few inciteful, hateful or even plain lies will get you in power quicker than honest hard work.

And the reality remains. The world keeps trying to get in there. I wonder why
