SA Politics Part 14 - The New Dawn turns to Dusk

So basically, you’re celebrating the complete collapse of your party because one of your enemies didn’t grow in the same proportion to your own collapse.

<—- if being a complete loser had a definition in the dictionary 😂
Basically it means the DA has no future, they have no prospects of anything if they couldn't grow at the ANC's weakest point. The ANC will absorb the shocks, regenerate and grow back up as the splinters die off, COPE already did and and so will MK, contrary to the confidence you have in Duduzane.

South Africa's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ronald Lamola, said the government was concerned by the restrictions announced by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, arguing that Pretoria's policies are designed to address inequalities created by centuries of racial injustice.

“South Africa respects that the United States may hold different views regarding particular measures and their implementation."

"However, we remain committed to addressing these challenges through our constitutional institutions, democratic processes and the rule of law, with the objective of building a more equal and inclusive society for all South Africans,” Minister Ronald Lamola said.

Lamola added that The people of South Africa respect the right of the American people to develop laws to address their own conditions, and we expect the people of South Africa to be afforded the same respect that our sovereignty demands.”

The US has not named the individuals affected.

Rubio said the restrictions target foreign nationals responsible for or complicit in policies involving uncompensated land seizures, race-based discrimination or incitement of violence against minority groups in South Africa.

Not only is fraud tolerated in the DA, it is rewarded, this guy is high up in the candidates list.

Wouldn't really say its tolerated given that he's undergone a disciplinary process, and is currently under the hammer of the Federal Legal Commission who will determine his fate.

He's a snake and should be booted if even 20% of what Becky spews forth is right.

  • The state-owned fuel company, PetroSA, faces liquidation after entering into a ludicrous settlement with an obscure but ambitious fuel trader, Nako Energy.
  • Nako’s CEO, Nqobani Mkhwanazi, positioned herself as a trusted partner who would help turn around PetroSA’s fortunes. Instead, her company sold PetroSA petrol containing a toxic chemical that ultimately cost PetroSA’s market share in the Garden Route.
  • By the end of 2024, PetroSA and Nako owed each other close to a billion rand, with the balance working out R227-million in PetroSA’s favour. Six months later, PetroSA officials told Parliament they had reached a settlement with Nako to square off the debt.
  • The settlement should made PetroSA R227-million richer; instead PetroSA was persuaded to sign an acknowledgement of debt that was swiftly ceded to Nako’s lenders, who issued a letter of demand for R620-million.

Would this not because some candidates are also standing for ward elections? So if they win the ward they get taken off the PR list and the next person moves up?

Nfi how it works but I doubt they would just extend a listing for no reason. Surely?
A lot of funny things are happening in this election, some candidates appeared on multiple lists of other parties on top of their own party, looks like everyone is trying to ensure they get that post, by hook or crook.

Assholes. I see Naledi Chihuahua and Derelict James are also making a large noise on SM

Wtf are all these idiots doing in Parly to address this issue? Fokoli!
How do these work? Somehow I don't see thrm just handing the cash over, how do you prove it was your information that led to the arrest if they refuse to pay?

They have zero intention of paying a cent over. This is just so that the sheep think they are doing something

If they really cared they would be doing their jobs as elected representatives of the people
