Here in the UK if this had happened to a normal person the whole country would know about it. But because this is such common place in SA you don’t hear about it unless it’s a famous person.

Murder is not very common in UK. But in SA it’s just everyday life.

Yesterday the whole country knew about a young 3 year old that had gone missing from a playground - 1300 people came out to look for him.

In SA a three year old going missing wouldn’t make local news outside of the immediate local area.
