Not many people realise how crazy it’s origins are, legit quackery, some Chiropractors are more aligned with traditional chiro which is proper nutty and some are more aligned with modern medicine but the underpinning are still totally dodgy.

I only realised this when chatting to my neighbour(who was a chiro) one day about Homeopathy, I was expecting them to laugh with with me about how ridiculous Homeopathy is but they were dead serious about it being totally legit, turns out they shared rooms with a Homeopath and being a Chiro meant they were perfectly primed for all that garbage.

If anyone wants to open the wormhole google the origins of Chiropractors in the USA, the Wikipedia is food, it got so bad they were almost outright banned at one point if I recall correctly.

I had a chiropractor who was amazing. She was excellent at sorting out my posture problems, neck and back. And it was all explained scientifically.

she emigrated so i went looking for another one. Found this guy and he seemed good.

Second visit he asks me to stand up against the wall facing him. Which i do. I assume he was looking at my gate, or posture (sometimes they used to say my one leg is shorter than the other).

Next thing he says "ok, we need to align your neck a bit, the energy flow from your body is not uniform and so the aura is not entirely correct...."

I left there with tire marks on the road outside and never went back...
