I inherited a battery back from my great great grandfather. Still on the original charge from the time he used it in Germany during the 1940s.

Thats a very costly recall, EV battery packs are as costly or even more so in some cases than a full combustion engine replacement.

"Volvo first notified owners of EX30 models with Extended Range battery packs of a potential fire risk due to faulty battery cells in a recall notice on 30 December 2025."
