Logos are being changed again. This should satisfy most in both camps I think, that's if they stick to it - some SS channels are back on the original logos






Also, I see 207 SS Kickoff is back to doing soccer 24/7.

Anyway, I'm done looking at this stuff.

(Still seriously too big on MMovies Legends - horrible.)

Was watching the motogp earlier. Supersport is basically mirroring their logo it seems. Grey'ish. The old prominent red was intrusive in a way

It's the other way around, streaming-only is cheaper than satellite. Was done years ago as an incentive, now that idea is legacy.
Anyway it's changing back soon, if they stick to that.

Yes, everybody calls satellite subs “decoder”, even the article.

So why is it more? As cavedog says, satellites are fixed costs.

Sat subs costs aren't what was adjusted to make the difference then, so don't know why it's confusing.
Streaming-only was subsidised, to encourage the streaming market no doubt and then that left that way.

Dumbest decision ever to mess with logos. They have better fish to fry like offering premium decoder/satellite for R699 all in (access/pvr/xtraview) fee, no 24 month contract required.

A fixed 24 months wouldn't be too bad to get that, I'm confident that's coming too. At least they've already buckled a bit about the PVR access cost.

Really has become about when, no longer about if.

Firstly they've opened the door a crack, can't close it again.
And Canal+ are clearly mostly focused on the Black market in Africa, look how many soccer / footie channels there are today. Now that local market has become rugby lovers...

Interest is spreading beyond our borders too, but it's all in the south for now
