US hands over 64 smuggled artefacts to China in diplomatic push before summit

I reposted a claim....

🤷‍♂️

Are you not getting a little carried away?
Is that like when you forward tannie sannie’s WhatsApp that says “AI will read all your private messages if you don’t turn on some arb setting before Saturday” but add a disclaimer “I don’t know if it’s true….”?

No... it isn't.

Are you high, or something?

Good lord.

That is an extra-ordinary claim.

I don't think any half-sane person can disagree.

Just look at the numbers.

So I invite scrutiny and I'm "[peddling heresy,]" now.....

Just start with how the measurement of speed and location on the globe surface are completely unrelated, not to mention with tectonic shift the pyramid of Giza was not where it is today when it was built. Next just look up the actual co-ordinates of that’s not good enough.
Nothing to scrutinise.

I would say the person calling this claim bunk is not free to think. I'd say they are afraid to look... much like the priests during the Spanish Inquisition..

Let's go back to this point of yours:
Er.... excuse me, what!

p.s. I have not personally verified this claim.... but that is quite a claim.
WHAT exactly do you mean by 'quite a claim'.
What is the significance or why do you think it's an amazing claim?

Some people are not old enough to have played the lottery long enough to determine what the odds of wining are.

Ether that or they played long enough that they aren't around any more, to warn the rest of us.

It's why it's called a tax on the stupid.

Now... people win the lottery every week.... fact. But building a monument as large as the Giza Pyramid who's apex matches the speed of light which would not be determined for thousands of years to come.... you don't think there may be some things you have not been told, during your education?

There comes a time when one should admit.... maybe not everything I've been taught is true.... or at least.... perhaps there is more to life than what I have been taught.

To claim that the apex of the Giza Pyramid matches the speed of light, in terms of geographic location. And we are supposed to believe it was created by people more primitive than Donal Trump and Barack Obama.

Did you know that the Berjaya Times Square Theme Park, Kuala Lampur happens to be right on the EXACT line of latitude that shares it's number with Pi... and to an infinite significant digit?

But what exactly does that mean?
And no, the location of the apex of the pyramid does not match the speed of light. That number might pass through the pyramid but it does not pass through the apex. The pyramid was about 100m away from where it is today when it was built, regardless.

2589–2560 BC (Giza pyramid) was built approximately 100m from where it sits today.
It sounds like you are saying that there are significant locations in multiple places all over the world.... what makes it more special when some primitive culture comes along and builds a monument over that exact spot?

Am I in the ball park? Is that more or less your contention?

That "exact spot" as you call it is 34 000 Km long (the 29.9792458 latitude line).
The pyramid was not built with it's center at 29.9792 latitude but around 29.9783 latitude, its center is still not at 29.9792 latitude today and has never been.
It's pure bunk.

But let's pretend it was true, what is the connection between the modern day measurement of location and speed?

Point taken..... and how many other monuments are built on that line?

Nothing in a non-static universe is unchanging.

That's to be expected.

The connection is the length of the matching number, itself. It doesn't require a special degree in Ancient studies to see a matching pattern this obvious.

Then there is the obvious conflict of interest which mainstream historians and anthropologists are blind to.

It's why such howlers exist such as the official denial that rocks could fall from the sky, prior to science doing a complete 180 on that. Instead of saying we don't have sufficient data to deny claims, they said the opposite i.e. it was false/fiction.

Again..... the obvious perverse incentives exist right in front of everyone's nose, which predicts the opposition to and suppression of new discovery.

Yet somehow it is still so difficult for many to acknowledge that conflict of interest.

When you set up a two-tier system, with some deriving protecting from having to live and die solely through the accuracy of their conclusions, you will get mal- and misinformation coming from the top.

If you don't get this perverse incentive..... it explains why you struggle with those who question everything.

But there are monuments built on other “numbers”. I say numbers in inverted commas because they are arbitrary numbers. Why is the distance between lines of latitude significant relative to the speed of light? That distance is roughly 110 to 111 im between degrees.
There are monuments built all over the world on other lines of latitude (and longitude). What makes having something at that particular number, specifically north of the equator, significant in your eyes?

Science is about an attempt to figure things out. It’s full of things that change when new information becomes available. Being dogmatic about things is ignorant. People are ignorant in general, from the most intelligent to the least.

What is the perverse incentive to suppress the pyramid story as pure coincidence?

Because it looks like, in some cases, those numbers were selected by those who had an understanding which we are not supposed to even contemplate them having.

This is just one example. To me, a stark indicator the architects had a far more sophisticated grasp of measurement of the physical earth, both the planet itself and its relationship to other celestial bodies and constellations.

Perhaps if there are no more than one or two remarkable coincidences, one can say well the jury is still out on these claims. But as they begin to stack up, only the bone-headed, dog-like obedient will tell you 2 + 2 = 3.

The co-existence of other markers.

Alignment with constellations, for example, which indicate the age of construction, which can be confirmed through other ancient monuments.

It's an exercise in dot-joining and pattern recognition.

I understand not everyone is up for that, though..

People are especially dogmatic when there is a perverse incentive to keep new information from coming to light.

If you can see that when a new piece of information comes to light, which an expert thinks will destroy his career, he may reach for what means he has at his disposal to prevent it from coming to light, it should not be difficult to anticipate there will be attempts to conceal or distract from the new information which have ramifications far beyond just upheaval for a single expert ..... i.e. all of humanity loses out, due to that attempt to conceal and distract.

The problem is not 'people's tendency to be dogmatic, but the incentives which come into play when you relinquish responsibility, for vetting experts, to the State.

That is why humanity suffered so much during the union between Church and State.

At some point that union was broken and that was a very good thing, but certain individuals who cannot imagine themselves surviving, let alone thriving, on a level playing field where everyone is equal before the law immediately started working to prevent such a leveling of the playing field.

They did this by portraying man's nature as evil and depraved.... a doctrine which lends itself to justifications for a central authority consisting of a two-tier system. The same anti-human doctrine that characterized the Church-State union, persists in modern forms. It began with the co-opting of Darwin's theories(to become 'Social Darwinism') and became the basis for what is taught/inferred in public curricula and State propaganda.

Same old doctrine, in new packaging.

What is the perverse incentive to suppress the pyramid story as pure coincidence?
The incentive to distract and suppress new information or even mere exploration, by lesser mortals, is career security.... coercive(legal) protection from the free market in ideas and information.

A lot of people say it is material i.e. down to money, but I diverge from that theory. I think it is down to control, and that money is merely a means to that, more encompassing, end.

The impulse to prevent a level playing field, whilst portraying it as an act of humanity and compassion, is as old as humanity itself, and much, much older.

We all suffer, ultimately, due the space and platform given to that short-sighted view tho'.

Has the speed of light in a vacuum changed? Just curious.
Not by much.

We can go into a deep discussion on how physical laws came to exist but I sense that's not going to be all that fruitful, and it's off-topic.

My take is that the laws of the physical universe came to exist - and still persist - through agreement.

🤯 o_O

Happy to take that discussion to an appropriate thread, existing or new.
