and as expected the McLaren M1 toped the charts.
Fun race and great to hear so many old names and marques

Remember: Practice on Thursday, Quali on Friday, Race on Saturday.

I remembered that the hard way. I looked at the TV schedule and it said Race day Sunday 13:00 and my wife Had planed to Invite her brother for a birthday lunch. I convinced her to change it to Friday so I only had to miss practice which she did. Then I realised it was a misprint and Race day Sunday was on a Saturday so rather than missing practice I was now missing qualifying.
Still I can have a good meal and a good bottle of wine with my brother-in-law and watch the repeat of Qualifying later.

Had to reset all my alarms a day earlier WTF

It is Azerbaijan Remembrance Day (Azərbaycanda Anım Günü) observed on September 27 as a national day of mourning to honor the military personnel who died during the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War in 2020.
Those Middle East conflicts are really messing the F1 calendar and we still don't even know where the last two races will be held yet.
