Resident Evil getting good buzz.

The Mila Jovovich one from the early 2000s was the first dvd I ever owned, loved it and got me hooked on the franchise although it lost most of its momentum, this new one does look like it should boost the franchise again!

The movie that apparently inspired Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. Pretty good sci-fi for 1963. 6/10

Mayday (2026)

Reynolds usual wise-cracking schtick aside, the movie had some cool moments, took it's time (in a good way) with certain scenes & had some fun camera work. Enjoyed it.

Mandalorian and Grogu - incredibly weak story but I actually liked the movie quite a lot overall. 7.8/10

Good enough to add to my collection.

No Other Choice aka Eo-jjeol su-ga eop-da (2025)​

Korean language. This movie has a "Parasite" vibe, but drags a bit. 7/10

It's billed as a horror-comedy, and it is both in excess.

Let's just say, it's not for sensitive viewers, but it's original and entertaining af. 7/10

Spa Weekend (2026) 5.5/10

Weak comedy. Has some solid laughs here & there but a super thin story & full predictability. Isla Fisher's character was too forced & OTT.
