Food poisoning is no joke its one of two times I have ever admitted myself to hospital after my hearbeat started going irregular from the dehydration. No amount of Imodium or rehydrate was helping the situation. I needed two days in hospital with antibiotic on a drip to come right after that

Still if its cooked properly you cant get sick. All the bacteria will die. Food must be really rotten for it to have toxins that cant be killed by cooking.
