Elderly couple shot dead in parking lot of Rustenburg shopping centre

Do we even have a proper article about this ? I don't see anything else except paywalled Netwerk24 so not sure if we are just speculating.

Yeah, in these types of threads it's generally accepted that if you're being threatened with a weapon, the use of a firearm for self defence is legitimate. There is often complaining about people in these circumstances being charged with an offence in the first place, and the usual "criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens" slop.

There seems to be two versions of the story though, with the other one not involving a knobkerrie at all. The only way to really get a view on the matter would be to read the judge's reasons for judgement, which will be in the public domain in due course. I wouldn't be inclined to put much weight on what is reported in the press.

Until then we're all just speculating.

That short mf'er is stupid as hell. Did you see the size advantage that bearded man had on him, and still went there looking for crap, that was a well deserved beating. You never know when you're facing a capable and unstable person.

And a knobkierie can do proper damage, but there's way too little info here to make up anyone's mind unless you're looking at it through "coloured" lenses....

A knobkerrie is a weapon, that why it has the knob, and is not just a kerrie without a knob.
 
If I understand it correctly, they fled the scene and did not report it.....

If you act in self defense you sure as hell go to the nearest police station and report the incident

That's what they were convicted and sentenced for.

Probably claimed that they panicked/weren't thinking rationally/shocked etc.

Who knows.

Listen, unlike your 30%ter fake news sites, Netwerk24 is the most accurate and trustworthy media you will find.
They don't make up stories about 10 babies.
They don't find people guilty before the courts do.

So yes I gave you a proper article. Those you use for toilet paper is not proper. They even had a follow up article this morning with the sentencing.

Yes sunshine, you will not find me in political threads. In fact the only times you will maybe see me commenting on something political is when I make fools of the right wingers of my own tribe. So whatever you trying, it wont work on me.
