The unintended consequences for the Yanks if they do this will be fsck off funny to watch. Be po3s funny when the prices of Diesel AND Petrol both sky rocket in the states.

Especially more hilarious because they wanted to hold the reserve currency. All that supply, nobody to sell it to, and no control over the local price either so nobody's even buying it locally...

Well all of that, but also when they have nowhere to store their excess diesel that they can't sell locally they'll have to scale back production and that will impact all the products that come from refining the oil, so petrol and and and will all go up as supply for those products won't be sufficient to meet the demand.

Price is up to $4.20 in FL. Highest its been since el Trompo andPentagon Pete decideded to fek with Iran.
The prices go up and down regularly .... but this time its been hovering between 3.80 and 4.30 for months.

Had to go to Atlanta yesterday from Orlando ..... should cost around $80, hit me up almost $140.
Thankfully, the company has a great fuel allownce adjusted for these Great American Golden times.😵‍💫

I think these gas prices are going to play a big role in midterms.

Fuel is still po3s cheap in the States, even though everyone is whining about it.

Indeed. I paid £1.74 (I think) per litre the other day over here on Mud Island. That's around 35p more per litre than it was a few months ago.

Diesel is around the £2 per litre mark.

2 british pounds for Diesel... I'd have parked my trokkie a long time ago at that sort of price.

You guys still have it easy. With the next increase we'll be paying the equivalent of around $7 per gallon for normal petrol. I reckon at that price there will probably be riots over there...

I don't think that is a problem atm.

In the United States, retail diesel prices topped $6 a gallon this month for the first time, squeezing farmers and truckers and stoking worries for President Donald Trump's Republican Party ahead of the November midterm elections.
Another sign of persistent tightness is emerging in the storage market. Refiners and traders across North America are declining to renew diesel storage leases because there is little fuel available to store, data from storage broker The Tank Tiger showed.
Diesel storage capacity available for leasing in North America and the Caribbean ⁠Islands, a major trading hub, has climbed to a four-year high of 13 million barrels for October, from 11 million barrels in June, The Tank Tiger Chief Operating Officer Steven Barsamian told Reuters.
