*FILTHY NECRO* Lol same actually. Started playing a couple of weeks ago after a 5-year break. Logged into a couple of my toons, didn't know WTF was going on at all, and remembered how much I actually disliked the mobile game/Disney feel of Retail. So, I rolled an Orc warrior on TBC Anniversary (Spineshatter EU). Anyone else on the Anniversary servers?
 
Fired up disney mode yesterday for the occasional dungeon run with mates.
Didn't get past UI setup and keybinds.. it's been a while 🥲

I don't want to pug, ever, so will see if there's more folks who feel the same but to play very casually this time round, just some mythics a couple of times per week. Have a group of 7 so far, but everyone's highly casual so in order to slap 5 together with the right roles one will likely need a bigger pool.

I still see the odd Pap n Vleis member here and there on my journeys around Azeroth. One ran past me a few hours ago in the Isle of Dorn doing some quests.

Edit: Altoholics Anonymous too. Didn't know they were a SA guild.
 
Couple of us are thinking about it, but I personally wonder how many will get all the way to max level... we're not in our 20's anymore :unsure:
 
Luckily there is no rush to get to 60. Can always pick it up again later and continue where you left off with the horizontal progression.

Same here, stopped playing at end of Cataclysm.

Might be interested to join a local guild if possible.
 
A few of us old manne are planning on making a comeback - ages 40-50ish, though we're probably only about 7.
Looking at your MyBB join date you'd probably fit right in and it'll be great to get up to 10-12 at least.

Leveling will be a project so I forsee small groups teaming up on the same questlines / for dungeons or just hanging on discord inbetween talking kak about the horde/alliance.

Also, if PVP server, then it'll be quite useful to holler for a hand to chase off some pesky rogue sapping folks at a remote flightpoint. I can see the appeal to jam on a PVP server for the authentic experience and added dimension, but also the hassle.

Will see closer to the time I reckon.
 
It would be great to join a local guild once established. Afterall, the social aspect is what drew me to WoW back in 2008.

Hi, not sure if you were replying to me, but I would not mind jouning your group :)

Going to try the beta out hopefully soon to get back into things, main char I am planning is a priest (never played one).

Oh, also in the 40 to 50 year range 😬

Where are all the people from Affliction/Prophecy?
 
I saw Pap en Veils posted on the ZA Gamin facebook page that they will have a Horde guild...
 
Looks like there will be some interest from players in Last Sanctuary as well as Horobi and his lads.

Would be ideal if we can get everyone as big a group as possible on the same faction/PVP/PVE server.
It's inevitable that there will be a huge group starting off, but only a few left standing after a month or two - then we have the option for mergers / colabs.
