South Africa’s museum town has a 132-year-old hotel standing empty because of a worker dispute

Pilgrim’s Rest’s historic Royal Hotel has stood empty for years due to a prolonged worker dispute and the provincial government’s struggle to find a suitable private operator, undermining tourism in the iconic gold-rush town.
