Seems well priced but did anyone work out what the platform actually does?

Well I assumed it was some kind of webstore and it included the webstore which would make it well priced but it seems to just be some kind of plugin/bridge?
I jumped the gun with my well priced assessment :(
 
Not bad considering etail onboarding, however, this,

1) is very doable with AI, though copywriting is a thing. 2) heh... use it as a gauge, but it is something that requires accounting. Yoh, double-check the tagging and categorisation; it is crucial.

Then 4)... Yes, AI can build SEO, but it is not good at being competitive and doing REAL research. There are proper SEO toolboxes out there, many that have adopted AI in an appropriate manner. This is a store builder, so it will largely depend on ShopEazy's structure.

Overall, I think it is a good service, but AI is being oversold here as a timesaver.

Also, there is "AI Hustler" component to this. Where it is commercial, AI should be watched.

Anyway, not my service, but I know the deepest pits with this implementation. The way it is being set up seems that subscribers will be competing against each other.

No worries.

It's a horrible product imo. Build a store and plug in your own payment processor. That is R159 per month and guess what...3.5% platform fee...didn't you just pay R159 for the fcking platform. And your AI scocery box needs credits too.

You can setup a quick store and/or payment links form many payment processors FOR FREE, minus the AI kark of course. And no fcking 3.5% platform fee.

Only an idiot will pay for this AI junk. With Paystack, you also get a Virtual Terminal, which turn an internet connected laptop or tablet into a POS system with credit card processing without any hardware.

i didnt look too much into it felt vague ish.

I know from a buddy who had a ecom store via shopify they take like 5% margin or something like that never mind the card processing fees.
3.5% turn over on 15 products plus plus ja no but thats just me this may work for some who does crafts or like custom T shirts kinda thing maybe with high enough margins (30-50%)

Not saying this is a kark business model its just not for some of us but the cost yeah no one really needs A.I in a store other than a chatbox and that credits will get eaten up real quick with zero sales im sure also why i never bothered with it (too costly and personally i dont like talking to Bots on the phone or via a chatbox especially generic ones).

want to sell online besides marketplaces can host your own site on wordpress ./ woocommerce for free (the platform) with a hosting package at like R90 p/m i cant remember i think its R150 or R250 for coza annual renewal and 3.x% on card transactions eitherway. unless you on BNPL they go up to 6.5% never mind the advertising costs in general (Doesnt have to be thousands when you start up)

But prepare not to make any money for about a year (terms of profit) if you not prepared for that or have that capital to pay for it for a year or so you may have a problem.

Competition is high. costs can be high if you not smart about it, and fraud is around even at business (youll be fine if you keep the rules simple).


oh as for POS im not sure about the other payment setups but Yoco has this and you can tap cards on your phone / tablet (never tested it on a ipad). I suspect you can with Payfast aswell since that machine can sell electricity etc and ja not sure on the other POS ones but Yoco features this which is great IF you going to use that. No monthly cost on Yoco.
