No idea, it's just a rumour circulating. If the vans contained explosives, there is no way in hell they would be released on bail. If it was a complete mix up and there was no criminality whatsoever, they would have been released unconditionally.

The only logical conclusion is that they were up to something, but not as serious a something as that which was first imagined.

I think Shabana mahmood, being a trojan horse of Islam, pulled the strings & released them because explosives were not of sufficient quantity to cause huge damage.

The men, all young UK nationals from London, are still under investigation. But the fact they are no longer in custody dramatically reduces the scale of how big or how dangerous a plot this was alleged to be.
