Well done to finally get a real account on what it is like, without the media changing it to fit their narrative. 👏

This person will do well there as you can see the attention to detail.

PS - You have to prioritize integrating the US English accent and spelling as that helps a lot. Took me about two weeks to get fluent when on holiday there. It will go even faster when you have an extroverted personality and talk a lot. 😁

Seems like a decent option for people left on the scrap heap of BEE.

They talk about Afrikaners all the time though and I wonder how they define that if, as I assume the interview is done by a Yank in English. Do they actually just mean white? Could a white bloke just pretend he’s an Afrikaner as I’m sure most English Saffers know at least enough Afrikaans for a conversation.

And no I’m not considering it. Just a bit confused and yet fascinated by this whole thing.

Ok got to love the headline? I mean he was a former EOH employee after being at MC, yeeeeet that gets the headline?

So a leech while other people do the work:

"holding senior middle-management positions at both companies"

With that in mind, don't believe I will be accepted. I am the one who actually does the work.

The intention was probably to focus on the fact that although he is highly qualified, he was unable to secure another job in SA due to the discriminatory employment policies.

With the unemployment numbers being what they are many people are struggling to find jobs, not only whites. My wife lost her job two years ago and is still struggling to find a job even though she is not only qualified, but experienced as well. There just isn't enough jobs for everyone. This guy is an economic refugee, which is what most of them are. They can just be honest and give the real reasons for going to the US, instead of crying genocide.

Still does not mean he is highly qualified.

Highly qualified people also tend to have a good social network, which means you're unlikely to find yourself homeless. Sounds like someone that got promotions in spite of lacking qualifications, which would make it very hard to find a new job. Especially if he is one of the older whites that got big promotions early in his career for something other than merit.

Middle management? Qualifications for that are? What MBA maybe?

No no, we need more of it, cause it's not worked in 33 years. We need to double down
This. Because building schools, having functional public transport and crime free travel routes....these things require actual work whereas BEE requires fokkol from the ANC.
