Two deputy ministers spent R6.4 million on car rentals, flights, accommodation, and travelling in one year

Near as damnit R3m on car rentals in a year is an achievement.

**EDIT**

Just doing some basic numbers, assuming an exorbitant R10000 per day rental fee for whatever vehicle was hired, did this oke ever drive the stupid expensive vehicle that was bought for him at the ministerial Handbook values?

Granted I know it would be 3 or 4 vehicles hired, but even then how many days of vehicle hire were involved to hit R3m for a single entourage.

The most expensive cost in 2025/26 was car rentals, which totalled R876,607.03 for Mhlauli and R2.93 million for Morolong.
If he had rented a car, every day for that two year period, the price per day would be R4069 , WTAF?

I'm sure the value of returns and investments they brought into the country far exceeded that measly R6.4 million spend.

Not just vehicles, flights and accommodation too! Not just the deputy ministers, their 'support staff' too. That probably includes multiple hangers on, family members, etc...

I mean, why would we even be surprised.
