A weird graph due to not enough load but looks like it should be able to do at least 80% of panel rating. Need to run some things like oven and geyser at the same time to see what it peaks at.

Thought your geyser is seperate?View attachment 1941919

It is. But I can still run the geyser via inverter. Just press a button on the phone and it runs off AC. I never use the inverter though as the controller manages fine on DC.Thought your geyser is seperate?
Best thing is to get disconnected. I can’t fathom the problems I would be having if I was grid connected still. An update on my COJ deposit. After not wanting to pay it and continuing to pay the current amount owing, all they have done now is allocated those payments to the deposit (to make up the R11k) and put the account in arrears
After speaking to COJ, I agreed to an interest-free AOD of R316 per month over 36 months. It's kak, but better than taking it out on the CC and paying interest.
The plan over the next year is to get another 4 panels & another 16kwh battery, switch genny to gas and they can come and take their kak meter. Unless a new gov comes in and adjusts things, which i doubt
Agreed, also paying like R1500+ just for network fees is wild, tried going to prepaid, was told they have no meters and I must apply next year despite having a prepaid meter already, it's just on a postpaid tariffBest thing is to get disconnected. I can’t physically be there to go to COJ and fight them over anything. 99% of the problems are electricity related to most people.
I have peace of mind every time the COJ bill comes knowing unless I get a leak somewhere, the bill will always be the same amount.
Network fees are wild, that is a new battery and a few panels each year.Agreed, also paying like R1500+ just for network fees is wild, tried going to prepaid, was told they have no meters and I must apply next year despite already having a prepaid meter already, it's just on a postpaid tariff
There are still fees on prepaid too and you get into trouble if you don't buy every month.Agreed, also paying like R1500+ just for network fees is wild, tried going to prepaid, was told they have no meters and I must apply next year despite already having a prepaid meter already, it's just on a postpaid tariff
afaik its R300 or so p/mThere are still fees on prepaid too and you get into trouble if you don't buy every month.
For now. I predict that to be R1000pm in 5 years time. Anyway, like you said, they wont allow you cash cow to go onto prepaid because you are a cash cow.afaik its R300 or so p/m
